Terms of use

The readable kind.

These terms cover the MISHA app on iPhone, Apple Watch and iPad, in beta today and on the App Store later. Using the app means you accept them. Where the app is delivered through Apple's App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies as the baseline, and these terms add to it.

What the app is, and isn't

MISHA is a family organization tool: visual routines, made by a caregiver, run together with a child. It is not a medical device, not therapy, and not a substitute for professional advice. Decisions about your child's care belong to you and the professionals you trust.

Your license

You get a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own family. The app and its design belong to Egor Lyfar. Everything you create inside it, the photos, routines, journals and cards, belongs to you.

The beta

Beta builds are provided as-is while the app is still being shaped. Features can change, move behind a purchase, or disappear between builds, and a beta build can expire, at which point you'll be offered a newer one. Keep an export if your routines matter to you; the app makes that easy and free. Feedback you send is voluntary, and I may use it to improve the app without owing compensation.

Purchases

The App Store version will be free to download and useful for free. Some features will be paid, as a purchase or subscription handled entirely by Apple: Apple bills you, Apple processes refunds under its own rules, and no payment details ever pass through me. Two promises hold regardless of what's paid: routines you've already built keep working, and export of your own data stays free, always.

Fair use

Use the app lawfully and only with photos you have the right to take and use. Don't try to break, resell, or misrepresent the app. An adult sets it up and stays responsible for how it's used with a child.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the app is provided without warranties, and Egor Lyfar isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law says it can't be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Changes

If these terms change, this page changes first, with a new date below. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
